The following short stories are my dad's memories. They are the memories he had put down on paper before Alzheimer's cruelly took those memories from him. These memories were precious to him and deserve to be shared and remembered.

These pages give a fascinating insight into life in Bermondsey during the 1920s and 1930s through the eyes of a young boy and a glimpse of life in the RAF through the eyes of a young man, in the thick of the action during the Second World War.
