Small tumulus; grave about three and a half feet deep. The bones were almost gone; the coffin appeared to have been thick, and had passed the fire. Near the neck were five earthen beads [M 6714], like those so often mentioned in the former divisions of this Inventory; and an hemispherical piece of blue glass, set in a very thin frame and back of silver [M 6713]. The frame, was broken in taking out. It had a small loop, or eye, to hang it by, and was doubtless a pendant or ornament for the neck; many of which, of different sorts, are described in the former pages. Here was also the blade of a small knife. A woman's grave.
