The next tumulus stands about twenty paces southward of the last mentioned, and on the same (namely, the east) side of the road from Wingham towards Ileden. It was pretty broad at its basis, but very low; the grave was about three feet deep; the bones were almost gone; the coffin had passed the fire. Nothing.
