Largish tumulus. The bones were almost gone; the coffin had passed the fire. Near the neck was a beautiful pendant, consisting of a dark red stone set in gold [M 6604]; it has a hoop of the same metal to hang it by; near the knees was the blade of a knife; and at the feet the sherds of a very large ossuary, or bone urn; and many scattered pieces of burnt bones. The grave was about four feet deep. A woman's grave.
