Middle-sized tumulus. The bones were almost gone; the coffin had passed the fire. On the right side of the skull was the head of an hasta; and at the feet, on the same side, was the spike of it, which was remarkably slender, and bore no proportion to the socket of the head, from whence it appears that the staff was less and less from the head to the spike; here was also the blade of a knife. Grave about three feet deep.
