Barfrestone Grave 28

Small tumulus. Bones of a child, almost gone; no appearance of any coffin. The blade of a small knife; at the feet was a pretty urn of very thin greenish glass [M 6583], beautifully corded; it is capable of containing about half a pint. The grave was very shallow.
