BEATRICE GRACE ADLAM (1927-2024), CHRISTINA WILSON SPENCE (1893-1954) and THOMAS RICHARD ADLAM (1888-1983).

Deborah Adlam has contributed biographical information about her mother Beatrice Grace Adlam's schooldays and evacuation from Edinburgh to Peebles. This was co-written by Beatrice and Deborah in November 2023 and copied out in Deborah's handwriting, with photographic illustrations. Also included are letters to Beatrice from her mother Christina during the evacuation period, copied out in Deborah's handwriting, and some copies of the originals.
