My great-grandmother wrote her memoirs for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren before she died at the age of 94. In this volume, she recalls her experiences of the Blitz, being a student in wartime, working for the Army as a driver in London, and marrying my great-grandfather before he was posted abroad for four years.
