The viewpoints expressed on those websites do not necessarily represent the views of the Their Finest Hour project team or the University of Oxford.</p><p dir="ltr">This photo album was in the belongings left by my late aunt, Betty Garner, when she died in 2007.</p><p dir="ltr">She was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1923, the family returned to Glasgow in 1934, and she joined up when living in Glasgow.</p><p dir="ltr">She started training at Aultbea before embarking for service in South Africa. It mostly shows friends and colleagues during time off, as I expect she couldn't have a camera with her during operational hours.</p><p dir="ltr">I have digitised the story and published on a website - https://ww2wren.weebly.com</p>
