Raymond Orsman was in the 8th Army. He travelled from Cornwall to South Africa and up northwards to Egypt. He then went to Bologna, Italy, where he stayed for 2 years before coming home.
His daughter had no dates or other details as her father never spoke of his experiences. She brought along his medals, newspaper clippings and a letter from General Montgomery to the 8th Army.
