Kenneth Pearson was born in 1935 in Yorkshire. His father was in the army and they were posted out to Egypt. Kenneth's earliest memories are of Cairo, Egypt. When war broke out, they were evacuated to Palestine. As children, they were brought up to be seen and not heard. He was a curious child and once opened a window and saw an explosion during an air raid. His daily life patterns were maintained for stability, there was a disciplined atmosphere. Bedwetting stopped automatically after the war. He believes people cared so much more for each other then, the sense of community spirit was important. Felt there was a sense of justice after the war.
