online resource
posted on 2024-06-05, 19:51 authored by Their Finest Hour Project Team

James Cooper was in the R.A.F. Posted in India he said he had a "good war" stationed in Jodphur as a mechanic servicing and repairing planes. He did not see any action. He attended tea parties (often given for the troops) at the Maharaja's palace, and was able to visit famous sites such as the Taj Mahal etc. His unit's magazine "Camp Chronicle" was full of jokes.
