My grandpa is still alive, at 102 years old, and we had the pleasure of being interviewed for this project in 2022.

I am attaching pictures of the following items: - Box grenade and the mortar grenade (my grandpa says that he shot around a thousand of these during the war) - Folder of documents with his registry number - Leather belt with holster that he got from a German Lieutenant that was surrendering (the holster has the eagle and swastika engraved) - Two German bullets (9mm) dated as of 1941 and 1943 - Pictures of him in the war in Italy - Letters that he sent home from the war
