This autograph album belonged to a nurse at Minehead (Somerset, UK) Red Cross hospital during World War One. There are many different entries from patients. They cover the approximate period 1915 to 1916. Some of the patients appear to have fought in the Dardanelles campaign.

The album is not a family item, but was purchased as part of a job lot at an auction in Minehead Salesroom (date unknown) by my husband's grandfather, Frederick James (Jim) Pugsley of 4 Station Terrace, Minehead, Somerset. My Husband's grandmother, Bessie May (Mary) Pugsley would say "What have you bought home this week?" He was always buying things there.

There are other entries in the album which are unrelated to the war.
