Private William John Gorton (8911), member of the 1st Bn., Wiltshire Regiment, died on 23rd February 1915 aged 20. He was the son of William and Sarah Ellen Gorton of Southampton Street, Faringdon, Buckinghamshire. He is buried in Le Havre, France.
