William Henry Slee born 20th November 1897 joined the Devonshire Regiment (28545) having lied about his age to enlist. He died 26th March 1917. He sent detailed letters to his parents, which his family have, as well as a letter sent by his Mother to William after he had been killed, at the top of this letter "Killed in Action" this is dated May 1917
