Agnes Winifred Honey grew up near Newton Abbot Devon. When the war broke out she travelled to Coventry to help with the War Effort as an Airplane Wing Stitcher. Whilst doing this work she met Charles Tooth who was an Engineer Turner Munitions, and they married in 1917.
