9746: George Joseph Heppell

George Joseph Heppell was born on 2nd September 1893. He lied about his age to join the Navy in 1912. In 1913 he was assigned to HMS Ajax. During his time on this ship George was involved in the Battle of Jutland. He died in 1939.
