9736: German Binoculars

online resource
posted on 2024-01-19, 11:20 authored by Lest We Forget Project Team

Thomas Seymour served in the Infantry as an Officer in the First World War. His binoculars and marching compass have remained in the family. The compass is able to be set when the direction of travel is decided, and is able to be locked when not in use. The binoculars are a German make so Thomas's family wonder if he "acquired" them. Thomas survived the war.
