Bratton Farm was used as a mule training depot and had a 5 ton weigh station. The mules were brought in by train to Minehead Station and then driven up the Avenue, Minehead to the farm. The owner of Bratton Court Farm is Hon. Roland Lytton. This mule training depot only operated until 1916. A mule shoe was found at the farm along with several mule rings. The mule shoe was brought in to be photographed.
