897: Giant Knitted Poppy

The object is 4m square and is made up of 1568 4 inch knitted and crocheted squares representing each day of the war. It has been made by men, women and children all over the country who visited craft shows run by ICHF Events and managed by three women known as Grans on the Make. Contributors also posted squares to us in their dozens.
