8913: Charles William Bosley

Charles was not a direct relative to Jillian. He is the brother of her great uncle by marriage. (Arthur Bosley) Charles was born in 1896 in Tolland, Wiveliscombe, Somerset to William & Ann Bosley a Thatcher. He was one of five children, the eldest of which had died in 1909. Charles was a Private in the Somerset Light Infantry 1st 5th Battalion, regiment number 241560. He was killed in action on 8th April 1918 in Egypt and is buried at Remleh War Cemetery in Israel.
