87624: Thrushes

Manuscript of poem in ink in Siegfried Sassoon's hand. Sassoon notes that the poem was published in the 'New Statesman' in January 1918. Included in a notebook containing manuscript drafts and clippings of various poems later published in 'Counter-Attack and Other Poems' (1918), some with notes in Sassoon's hand explaining additional places of publication.
