87589: Does it Matter?

Manuscript of poem in ink in Siegfried Sassoon's hand. This is a clean draft without corrections. Sassoon has noted on the facing page that the poem was published in 'The Cambridge Magazine' on 6th October 1917. Included in a notebook containing manuscript drafts and clippings of various poems later published in 'Counter-Attack and Other Poems' (1918), some with notes in Sassoon's hand explaining additional places of publication.
