Pte Ezra Hardiman Jewson joined the 2nd Bn Bedfordshire Regiment in November 1915. Ezra was wounded in a gas attack at Le Transloy in October 1916 and discharged from the Army in March 1918.

Ezra was born in 1881 and raised in Terrington St Clements, Norfolk He survived the war and died in 1977 aged 96.
