Picture of Grandfather, passed on from mother - mothers initial story was that both were wounded; Simon found out from record that this is not what happened. Simon ever met him.

Royal Ulster Rifles. Joined April 1915, discharged Nov 1915, tried to join in Jan 1915 already, didn't see action. 15/16 lied about his age. Comrades served in Somme, doesn't know who the others in photo are. Doesn't know where picture was taken. ?ASC - Service Corps? Not sure if he went overseas. Info from ANCESTRY website - originals at home.
