<p dir="ltr">Lieutenant William Alan Ure, grandson of Lord Provost of Glasgow and nephew of Lord Strathclyde, died as the results of wounds received in action at the age of 23.</p>
<p>His brother, Colin McGregor Ure, was then a Prisoner of War in Germany, and had been for two years.</p>
