7632: The Death of Private Colin Downie

Private Colin Downie served with the 1st battalion of the Highland Light Infantry, and was killed in action at La Bassee in France on December 20th, 1914.

There is also a letter from the Assistant Financial Secretary concerning the payment of compensation to Private Colin Downie's siblings following his death.
