These artefacts relate to Argyle family, who lived near to where contributor lives. The postcard was sent from two brothers to their sister. Also included are photographs of the family and of the survivors of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Regiment. One member of the Argyle family, Percival Edgar, was killed in action and the letter informing his mother of his death is included here. Percival was a lieutenant in the East Lancashire Regiment. He served for two years.
