Pte John Edward 'Jack' Keays served in the Machine Gun Corps (10349) after serving in the Devon and Cornwall Light Infantry (22049). He had enlisted between May 1915 and August 1915, and was killed in action on 200 yards from the Bazentin-le-Petit windmill on 19th August 1916.
