Typescript of poem with one underlining in ink. Found in a volume including other poems from Siegfried Sassoon's 'Counter-Attack and Other Poems' (1918) bound in blue leather, dedicated to Robert Ross. Letters from Sassoon to Ross as well as letters between Ross and William Heineman, Sassoon's publisher, were also included in this volume. Also includes a quotation from Henri Barbusse's war-time novel 'Under Fire' (1915) in Sassoon's hand.
