Manuscript in black ink in Edmund Blunden's hand of Chapter XXI entitled 'The Crash of Pillars' from 'Undertones of War' (1928). Corrections and additions in ink in Blunden's hand. Blunden has added the title in red ink. The chapter details his experiences over the course of the first day of the battle of Passchendaele during the month of June 1917.
