Copy of a photograph of G. Satler, pictured with his officers and NCOs. Edmund Blunden has noted various individuals, including 'Unstead, Small, Cole, Sommerville, Lapworth, Salton, Mason, Botting'. The book was compiled by Blunden with the intention of providing complementary photographs supporting the narrative and poems of 'Undertones of War' (1928), and was inscribed 'E.B. New Year, 1935' while Blunden was living in North Oxford, a neighbour of Graham Greene.
