Written while Ivor Gurney was a patient at the Middlesex War Hospital, where he was sent following numerous suicide threats. Thanks Marion Scott for a recent letter / discusses arrangements for an upcoming meeting / glad that the article (mentioned in the letter of 10th September 1918) has reached her / thanks Scott for her corrections for 'Girl's Song' / includes 'The Poplar'.
