Manuscript in pen in Marion Scott's hand. Mentioned in a letter of August 1918 discussing the need for 'polishing'. Possibly omitted from 'War's Embers' (1919) by mistake. Written while Ivor Gurney was a patient at Lord Derby's War Hospital.
