Manuscript in pen in Marion Scott's hand. From the 'Hospital Pictures' series. After a draft in the black manuscript notebook 52.1 and a letter of 12th December 1917 to Scott. Written while Ivor Gurney was on a signalling course at Seaton Delaval, Northumberland. Included in 'War's Embers' (1919).
