Manuscript in pen in an Marion Scott's hand. An unfinished pencil draft exists in the red manuscript notebook 52.7. Ivor Gurney discusses the poem with Scott in letters dating from 27th June and 29th September 1917. Included in 'Severn and Somme' (1917).
