Typescript prepared by Marion Scott. Another draft of the poem appears in a previous notebook. This version was included in in P.J. Kavanagh's 'Ivor Gurney: Collected Poems' (2004). Manuscript drafts of the poem exist in letters from Ivor Gurney to Marion Scott dating from 15 July and 22 July 1917.
