Manuscript in pen in Marion Scott's hand. After a manuscript from a letter of 29th August 1917 to Scott. Also found in the blue exercise book 52.5. The quotation in stanza 5 is from the American poet Walt Whitman's 'Passage to India'. Published in 'The Spectator' on 22nd February 1919. Included in 'War's Embers' (1919).
