<p dir="ltr">Manuscript in pen in Marion Scott's hand. Part of the 'Hospital Pictures' series. A draft can be found in the black manuscript notebook 52.1 with minor various. Transcribed by Ivor Gurney and sent in an envelope dated 17th November 1917 to Scott. Written while Gurney was on a signalling course at Seaton Delaval, Northumberland.</p>
