Typescript without alterations, prepared by Marion Scott, and possibly amongst those poems submitted to and rejected by the firm Sidgwick and Jackson in 1922. This draft was included in P.J. Kavanagh's 'Ivor Gurney: Collected Poems' (2004). A different version of the poem exists under the title 'The Landing'. The title here is probably a reference to Ivor Gurney's 'Blighty': he was gassed near St. Julien in September 1917.
