Two manuscript maps of trenches in black ink drawn by David Jones. One shows the trenches in the southwest corner of Mametz Wood during the Battle of the Somme July 1916, one shows the whole wood with cross rides. That cross marks the various phases of the battle for Mametz Wood and line V, Y O and K is mentioned in 'In Parenthesis' (Part VII). |
