Includes with letters proofs of 'Fairies and Fusiliers' / discusses having been cleared for garrison service abroad / his medical condition and having requested to be sent after one month for service in Egypt / novel 'The Loom of Youth' by Alec Waugh, and Edmund Gosse's reaction to it / a visit to London and meeting with Heinemann, Robert Graves' publisher along with Edward Marsh, etc. / the likelihood of 'Fairies and Fusiliers' being a success / having met and opinion of the Sitwells (Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell) / approval of Siegfried Sassoon's doctor W. H. R. Rivers / hopes that Sassoon is feeling better and that both will get back to poetry writing.
