William Allan Manson was my wife's father. He was born on 15/04/1890. He married Mary Hall Thomson in 1915 and died 05/03/1956. He was in the 2nd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders, with service number S/14099. He served in the Veneto area of Italy in 1918 and was awarded the Military Medal. We have his Military Medal, Victory Medal and British War Medal. We also have three embroidered cards that William Allan Manson sent to his wife, Mary.
