61: Princess Mary Gift Box for Soldiers

These small boxes were given as gifts by Princess Mary to frontline soldiers. Each box (over 400 thousand initially in total) contained a card from her, her picture, sweets and/or tobacco, and a pencil with shell. By the end of the war, 2 1/2 million were made, some soldiers only receiving there's after the war.
