Photograph of Private Evan Hawkes (Service Number 92930) of the 9th Durham Light Infantry. His home address in Hull was 5 Queens Place, William Street, Porter Street. He was killed in action in France on 21st July 1918. The photograph is in postcard format, with a few handwritten notes on the back, including the word "Killed" in brackets. Part of a collection relating to Evan Hawkes.
