Private Jones is here armes with a Charger Loading Lee Enfield Rifle, obsolete for front line troops by the begining of the war but used in training.

Private 203606 Llewelyn Jones, 9th Bn. Royal Welsh Fusiliers, died of wounds Monday 23rd October 1917, aged 32. The son of Hugh and Jane Jones; husband of Annie Ellen Jones, of Peny Bont, Red Wharf Bay, Pentraeth, Menai Bridge, Anglesey, he is commemorated on the Fusilier Wood Memorial, Duhallow A.D.S. Cemetery.
