Letters from Bob Dowdeswell (serving with the A.S.C. in England) to his sister 'Win' (Esther Lavinia Mary Dowdeswell, known as 'Win' or 'Toby' or 'E.L.M.'). The letter mentions their brother Frank Dowdeswell, and a friend called Bill Kitchin.

Part of a collection relating to the service of Frank (7th Buffs) and Bob (Army Service Corps) Dowdeswell, of Shaw Green, Prestbury, nr Cheltenham. Bob died in April 1917 after a lorry accident.
