60947: Memories of Thomas Atkinson (1913-2002)

Although my father was born in 1913 he still had some memories relating to the First World War from when he was living as boy in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. These include family tragedies, the sighting of a German airship over Newcastle, the War's effects on the city of Newcastle, and his father's experience of the War.
