A handwritten notebook containing notes written by Lance Corporal Robert Rafton (Service Number 2090) of the East Riding Yeomanry about a lecture on hand grenades. The book includes information about topics including explosives, trench catapults, the West Spring Gun, and the Stokes Gun, and is illustrated with diagrams. Part of a collection relating to Robert Rafton, deposited by his great-niece.
